Print format different than screen layout.

I typed a letter, but when I print it the document prints with automatic double-spacing between the address lines and the salutation lines.

On the Layout tab of Page Setup, make sure that the vertical alignment is
set to Top rather than Justified.

Did you recently upgrade from one version of Word to another? I believe
there was a bug between W95 and W97 that caused this problem.
