I typed a letter, but when I print it the document prints with automatic double-spacing between the address lines and the salutation lines. On the Layout tab of Page Setup, make sure that the vertical alignment is set to Top rather than Justified. -- Suzanne S. Did you recently upgrade from one version of Word to another? I believe there was a bug between W95 and W97 that caused this problem.
