Hi.

Files that MSWord creates which begin with ~ or/and end with .tmp are
created in the work directory.

I've looked at Options, File Locations but don't see a way to pre-select a
place where those can go, so they don't clutter the folder in which I'm
working.

Does anyone know of a way to allow those files to be created in their own
folder.

Thanks

Greg

Some of the temp folders are placed in the Windows temp folder, the rest are
placed in the working folders. There is no alternative to this. They should
be removed when Word is closed.
