microsoft equation

hi, i'm the new user of microsoft word X mac version. i
was wondering if there is any templates like microsoft
equation 3.0 in words (window version)can use to edit the
equation or to type in the equation?i need this templates
because i m an engineering student.

I would imagine that Equation Editor is (a) included with the Mac versions
of Word as it is with Windows versions and (b) not installed by default (in
the Typical install). In case this is not correct, however, you might want
to post your question in microsoft.public.mac.office.word.
