I have a template that is copied to the users MS Word start up folder via
log in script.  On one machine Word takes a full 8 to 10 seconds to start
up.  If I remove the template Word starts fine.  I have uninstalled and
reinstalled Word, Everything is pointing to the correct locations.  Does
anyone have any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.

Depends on how much is in your Add-In. Your experience is close to mine. If
your Add-In modifies or adds toolbars by code you could try simply doing the
modification in the Add-In and saving with the modification. Then eliminate
(comment out) that part of your code that does the modification.
