After I type a letter there appears below a series of I will say formatting
lines.

Some of these line appear to be file locations.

If I print the result is my letter with all of this gabbage at the end.
Some times several pages.

Also for some reason I have lost the ability to go to "help index".

Any ideas?

Don

Don,

In the File Open dialog box, change File of Type from Recovery Text from Any
File to Word Documents.
