I am using Word XP and I want to display the full path of the current file
at the top of the screen where the file name is given. I have looked through
all the options etc but cannot find how to do it. Can anyone tell me how?

With thanks,

Gerry

Right-click on any toolbar and select Customise. Select the Commands tab and
under Categories choose WEB. From the Commands windows. drag the Address
button and drop it onto the MENU bar immediately to the right of the HELP
menu. Move the cursor to the right hand edge of the address box until it
turns into a cross, right-click and drag the right end of the address box to
the right until it is level with the left side of the three windows command
buttons. Close the Customise Dialog.

Now the address box with show the full path and name of the open document.
