Bookmarks can't be reused, but you can have as many cross-references to them
as you like. They do not update automatically, however; you have to Ctrl+A,
F9 to update them.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply i tried the following and it did
not work,
I added a bookmark First_Name in the document.
I inserted a reference to the bookmark using
insert/reference. { REF First_Name }
I entered a value by placing the cursor on First Name.
Then did C+A and F9.
Am i doing something wrong.
Many Thanks,
Madan.

You probably overwrote the bookmark when you entered the value. Bookmarks
are very fragile. For something like this you might find document properties
(inserted using a DocProperty field) more viable.
