need to use a continuous template

i created an invoive template.is there anyway i can save it so that each time
i open it.it will then change to the next invoive number so i do not have to
keep track of the last number?

i am sorry thanxs for your help but i am new with this and i do not
understand how to create the formula i do not know if i am doing it wrong?

These two articles give similar instructions for how to create a macro
in a template. Follow their directions, using the macro in the
NumberDocs.htm page (all the lines from "Sub AutoNew" to "End Sub").
