I tried to research the above problem in this group and found similiar
problems, but not mine. I am pasting some text from html into word. It
looks fine, except the paragraphs appear in boxes in word and I want to
make the boxes disappear (not the text in them). I am sure this is done
easily, but I cant figure it out. Any help is appreciated.

Copy the data to the clipboard. In Word, choose Paste Special on the
Edit menu. In the Paste Special dialog box, choose to paste as
"Unformatted Text", and click OK. If the line breaks cause trouble,
which frequently happens with text pasted from the web, see
also http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/CleanWebText.htm
