When I open a business contact record, I get the following error message:

The custom form could not be opened.  Outlook will use an Outlook form
instead.  The form required to view this message cannot be displayed.
Contact your administrator.

then

Array index out of bounds

You have a corrupted forms cache.

Go to the Tools menu.
Choose Options
Choose the Other tab.
Click on the Advanced Options Button
Click Custom Forms
Click Manage Forms
Click Clear Cache.

Thank you very much....lost half of a day trying and you did it in about 1
minute!  Can't thank you enough.

Hi Patricia,
I did this a while ago, and even installed the SP1 update as suggested in
another thread for the same problem.  It worked for a while, but now it is
doing it again.  I can clear the cache and open two contacts but then on the
third one I get the same error message that the array is out of bounds.

I have only had this computer for three weeks I can't imagine anything being
corrupt.  Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks
Vicki

Vicki,

The forms cache issue is a common one and unfortunately, not one that
responds well to treatment :-(

there are some things that can make it better or worse though.

1. Do you have a PDA?
2. Do you have any other Outlook add-ins loaded?
3. What type of mail account do you use?

Let me know and I'll see if I can provide any more advice.
