Hi
This is what you would have to do in order to restore data
- create a new data base in BCM ,this should create a ldf and and mdf file
with the same name you gave for the database
- you would fine the same under C:\Documents & Settings\<user profile>\Local
settings\Applciation data\Microsoft\BCM
- rename the backup* that you recovered to the corresonding name of the new
data base that you created
- go to services.msc and stop the MSSQL$MICROSOFTBCM service
- then replace the same in the existing location as mentioned in step 2
- once this is done restart the stopped service mentioned in step 4
* create a local copy of the backup so that even if something goes wrong you
stiill have a backup
If all goes well you should have you old data restored
