Outlook BCM and Exchange 2000

I just installed BCM today and after enabling it I keeping the following error:

Synchronizing server changes in folder 'Inbox'
16:25:27 Downloading from server 'TB2EXCHANGE'
16:25:31 Error synchronizing folder
16:25:31         [80010114-3EE-80010114-560]
16:25:31         Unknown Error.
16:25:31         Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store

I have tried going through the article, but everything seems okay. I
running Office 2003 and Windows 2003.

Any suggestions? If I uninstall it will Outlook start working normally again?

Hi Dan

Do you have an Exchange server installed on the same box ? or is it a hosted
exchange account

BCM 2003 is installed on my client machine and Exchange 2000 is install on a
separate corporate server. I am running Windows XP on the client machine.

Is this BCM v1 or BCM V2? BCM V1 won't work with Exchange. BCM V2 is a free
update from Microsoft. You can check at Help -> About -> Business Contact
Manager.

Leonid,

It's BCM v2. The sync process works for everything except the inbox folder,
and there is starts, pulls in 75 items then stops, finishes the remainder of
the sync. See the following sync message: - this was after deleting the .ost
file.

I haven't tried the replace damaged Exchange Server support files from
article 842284 yet. I'm not optimistic since it's working - kinda... :-)

The steps to replace the damaged files are fairly harmless from what I can
see. Please be sure to make a backup of your BCM database.

I would also run isinteg on the exchange database to verify there there is
no corruption.
