Hi there,

I have been a good boy actually backing up my BCM database. After I had
installed Vista instead of XP I tried to restore the BCM database.

Unfortunately the computer replied with a rather vague answer. It said
'Cannot restore this database because at the time you made this backupfile
(*.sbb) you had no permission to do so. So now I won't let you restore it.'

It wasn't exactly this but in a way this was the reply on the restore
action. I didn't use any password with the backup at all.

What am I suppost to do to retrieve my contacts and the business information
out of this *.sbb file?

If you help me I thank you wholehartedly but keep in mind that I am a simple
office user and no database expert or whatsoever.

Thank you in advance,

Hi Sebastiaan,

I should be able to get those files back. I have every version of BCM in my
lab. :-)

It actually sounds like a Vista matter.

Thank you for your generous offer.

Where and how can i deliver the file? I think www.dropload.com is a good way
to send it to you.
