Hi all,

Running Office Pro 2003, patched current.
Running Microsoft SQL 2005
BCM 2003 has been patched with SP1, SP2 and SP3
OS is XP Pro x64, 2gb ram

When running the Startup Wizard for BCM, I Select the Create new database
option.  It tries, then errors out telling me "Database creation was
unsuccessful".  Is it because I have SQL 2005 installed and BCM is looking
for 2003?  I installed BCM2003 after installing my Visual Studio 2005, which
installed SQL 2005.  When I installed BCM2003, BCM installed fine, but the
SQL installation hangs.  However, it appears the installation of BCM went
fine.  Each time I open Outlook 2003, I'm prompted to create a new DB.

Thanks,
-Larry

I have a machine with both MSDE (SQL 2000) and Express (SQL 2005), so
it is possible to have both on the same machine. I would look for the
SQL install log and try to figure out why the sql installation is
hanging.
