Is possible to instal XP profesional on 1 pc create the shared adress book
on this one and connect with the rest XP home to this pc? will it work?

You can share a database in BCM only if the OS is Win Xp Pro.Also you can
share the database with only 5 users (You can add more than five but there
might be a performance hit - and it is not recommended)

I think it's only the shared database machine that requires Xp
professional--on pro can act as a server.

However, you'll only share the bcm database. The address book is an
Outlook/Exchange, and not a bcm feature.
