I have downloaded and installed Office 2007 Pro. This is not the trial
version, but the released version. (I'm one of those who got a free copy
through the web cast promotion.) The booklet Microsoft sent me with the
product code and download site says it includes Business Contact Manager, as
it's supposed to, but the installation did not appear to contain it. No
errors, just didn't install it. It's not in Add/Remove programs, and no BCM
entry appears in the Outlook Help menu.
Any ideas?

The same thing happened to me. Does MS check these posts?

I was just reading older posts and the answer to our question is in the reply
to a 1/25/2007 post entitled "Office Pro 2007 & BCM". I had forgotten to run
the 2nd download file. It contains the BCM install.

Those of us who got the free Office Pro 2007 from the webcast promotion
didn't get a link to the page with two downloads. We just got a link that
directly downloaded the first file, period - no intermediate web page
navigation. I contacted Microsoft and they did email me with a pointer to
the Trial download web page, and told me to download the second one and
install it. Everything went smoothly - my Business Contacts from my
now-uninstalled Outlook 2003 were found and automatically imported to BCM in
Outlook 2007.
