I installed BCM 2007 yesterday on a Vista Ultimate machine.  When I
check the process monitor sqlserver.exe seems to be stealing huge CPU
cycles from my machine which has affected performance noticeably.  This
is when I am not doing anything with Outlook or SQLServer.  Anyone else
have a similar issue or a solution?

After reading the thread below titled BCM: Slow, Slower,.., I'm wondering if
this is what I am also experiencing.  Guess I'll be patient and see what
happens if it is in fact still just indexing.

Can you check the status of the indexer status under start > Control panel >
Indexing option (this should give an idea)

I made the original post about the slowness of the new ap. I have been
running daily everyday since the first of Feb and I will say that it is
faster than it was at first but it has indeed slowed my machine down. Other
than for the constant shutting down and restarting, which is less frequent
also, it is at least acceptable. I read a post last night where a MS tech at
least acknowledges that there is a problem. As more people get this up and
running nad have the same issues we are having they will both hav had time to
address the issues and will be under pressure to fix the problems as the
publications start to write negativly and sales slow as a result. Jim
