Dear All,

I've installed the BCM DB on a remote server and shared it to a small
number of users (3 at the moment).

I upgraded office from 2003 to 2007 and installed BCM on 1 desktop and
2 laptops. We are finding outlook and bcm to be very very slow.

I read a number of posts in this forum and others about problems with
outlook 2007 being very slow on XP machines.

We are in an exchange environment and the combination of outlook and
BCM is simply not working due to the lack of speed.

the hosted DB is on a server with blenty of grunt.

Is anyone else having performance issues as well?

Cheers,

I have set my personal laptop up as a shared BCM server and have two clients
that connect and sync to my shared database.  I dont have any issues, however
the clients are having issues with slowness and lockups.

It might take a while for E-mail Auto-link to index your messages.
You can check your Auto-linking settings from the main Outlook window:

We are having issues as well. A few things to try:

1. do not use WDS 3.0 - go back to 2.6 (after troubleshooting your perf
issue).
2. turn off email auto linking
3. disable any third party addins (like plaxo, with the intention of turning
them on one at a time later as you solve your issue).
