Can data from an old version of ACT! (ACT 2000) be imported into BCM?  If
yes, are there any fields that don't always import properly?  (E.g., I've
heard that ACT group records, tasks, and notes are tricky to export and
import.  Is that true?)

BCM supports conversion of ACT 2000 thru the Data Conversion Utility under
Import Export.  ACT groups convert as Accounts.  Tasks as Outlook Tasks,
Notes as Business Notes.
