I am trying to attach to a shared BCM database. When I attempt to connect to
the share I get a message that it cannot access the database. I have shared
the database on the host and can see it from the client machine but it just
won't connect from the select a database screen. Most of the Microsoft
troubleshooting suggests a firewall problem so I turned off the firewalls on
both machines, still no joy.
The machine that is hosting the database is running Windows XP SP2 with
Outlook 2007. The client is running Vista Business with Outlook 2007. Both
machines are fully patched.
Anybody got any tips or thoughts?

Found that I needed to use a password with the username to be able to log in
to the database.
