We are a workgroup of 6 using BCM, the database is installed in a xeon
2ghz/3gb server running sql 2005. the database is about 2000 records...
we are having problems with the performance of BCM/Outlook as it
continuously hangs due to normal use, like switching views, accessing
records, or searching. i havent been able to spot the problem, it happens 80%
of the time and my users are slowly but surely loosing their patience with
this... all PCs are P4 3.0ghz or higher with 1 to 3gb in memory, when the
problem rises the mem and CPU usage duplicate and make it impossible to use.
any tips on how to improve bcm performance?? PLEASE HELP!

I don't know if this will help but my new BCM was extremely slow and my IT
suspected it was all the "plug-ins" whatever those are.  Anyway, mine seemed
to be related to Adobe 8.0.... once I ran the check for updats on Adobe and
downloaded to 8.1, things seems to start working much better...

Might just check for updates on all your software.
