ACT to BCM Data Conversion

I think you would get a lot more ACT users to convert to BCM 2007 if you fix
the date conversion so that notes, histories convert with their original
creation date rather than the tranfer date as it does now. A number of us ACT
users have years of important history that is only useful if it is converted
with the original creation date. I am aware that you can pay to have the data
converted correctly, but that little give me of having the data conversion
wizard do it might be the tipping point for some more Office 2007 sales. I am
in that category.

Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter,

There was a similar discussion:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?&lang=en&cr=US&guid
=&sloc=en-us&dg=microsoft.public.outlook.bcm&p=1&tid=142514fa-5717-4039-ba00-894

This feasibility of this issue will be discussed in future versions.  Thank
you for the suggestion.

Hi Sat,

Thanks for the info and link. It would be nice if you could get this fix
into the next service pack.
