Some how I have duplicate contacts in my Motorola Q( Windows Mobile 5.0) for
every company listed. How can I get rid of the duplicates or can delete all
the contacts and re-sync?
I have outlook w/business contact manager 2007 and windows vista premium.
I have no problems syncing my information, I just want to get rid of the
duplicates.

Thanks, Mark

Hi Mark, I currently link my BCM 2007 (bus & reg contacts) to my old Treo 600
using pocket mirror. It does split bus and personal on the Treo It does a
good job with the calendar, tasks etc. I was thinking of getting the Moto q
with either the WM 5 or WM 6. Do you find it works fine? I cannot sort my
contacts by account name (ie company name first on the Treo. can you on the
Moto with WM5

Thanks

Kevin:

I have win mobile 5.0 on my moto Q and running vista on my laptop so I use
Windows mobile device center to sync my phone rather than active sync in win
XP. You can sort your contacts in the phone to be viewed by company name or
by contact name. If you sort by company, you scroll to the company and hit
enter and then you see all the contacts for that customer,  hten scroll down
to the contact you are interested in to view information.Sometimes figuring
out and getting software to work the way you want can be tricky, but now I
have everything working well. If you have Win XP make sure you download the
latest version of Active sync from Microsoft.
