Hi,

Is is possible to send mass email, using an email template to a group of
contacts that match certain conditions defined in user defined fields? We
were Goldmine users, in Goldmine, you create a filter and then send a mass
email base of the filter, but I can't find similar functions in BCM.
Any help apprecaited

From the "VIEW" menu choose "Customize current view" and use the filter button.

Thanks Andy, but this will only apply to the current view and not allowing
you to save the criteria as a filter and reuse in the future. Also it does
not allow you to use the list in the view to do email broadcast or mail
merge. I did found out a work around.
1. Create a Search Folder with the search criteria (the Filter function
inside Search Folder allows you to save the filter)
2. Use this Search Folder to create a email Sales Campaign or a mail Sales
Campaign
This way the emails and mail merge can be saved as histories. A bit clunky
but it works. Still digging and hope there are easier ways
