Delegating tasks

We are sharing the BCM across two computers.  When we  create a task for the
other user under an opportunity, we link the task to the opportunity via the
"Link to Record" button. The task shows up on the other users todo list but
the link is gone.  How do we keep the link across users in the same bcm
database?

I'm having the same issue.

The link disappears - I can't type, "Follow up on this lead" and assign it
to my staff members...

Is this the desired feature set - or is there a workaround.  This is like
the 9th thing I've found thats making these tools unusable for our company.

This happens in "opportunities" specifically.  I don't seem to be seeing the
same issue with projects which tracks tasks in a different way.

Sorry for the delay in responding, though I'm afraid the answer will
not help you.

I believe the behavior you're observing is as intended, since BCM can
share all BCM information between users, but it cannot share Outlook
information.

On the first computer, the task is an Outlook task, and so is stored
with Outlook and appears in the ToDo bar. On the second computer, the
opportunity and task come across, but the Task doesn't exist in
Outlook. Therefore, BCM stores the information about the task in the
comments field of the opportunity.

We will be considering some correction to this in our next version. I
do appreciate your input.
