Hello

Please can you help with the following:

We have one computer whcich has BCM. I want to move the database form the
local PC to the server (The server hase SQL 2005 Workgroup Ed) so that the
sql do not have to run on the PCs, and thereafter install BCM on the other PC
with the organization and they must all connect to the data which is on the
server.

Please can you advise if this can me done and assidt if possible.

Yes, you can do that.  On the local PC, stop the SQL service.  That releases
the SQL files and you can copy them to the server.  Once they're on the
server, use SQL Management Studio to attach the files to that instance.  You
will need to know the name of the SQL instance and its port number in order
to link from the local PC to the server.  The local PC can then use the
Create or Select Database from the BCM menu in order to connect to the
server.

HTH,
Lon
