Installing BCM disables send/receive

Friday I installed BCM.  I received the Welcom to BCM email, and then could
not send or receive anything else.  I contacted the IT department and they
checked all my settings and said all was okay.  It still says "connected to
Microsoft Exchange" in the bottom right corner.  When I got in on Monday I
uninstalled BCM and my email started working.  I installed again, thinking I
must have made a mistake the first time.  Again, my send received went down.

Has anyone else come across this issue?

We are using Office 2007

Thank you in advance.
Kassie's problem with BCM is mine too - 14 Mar 2008 02:50 GMT
Yep - Same thing happened to me today - I freaked out and did an uninstall
and reinstall, but I didn't register the product - everything was back up and
running, so in the time being, I am going to continue as usual and have the
hassle of answering no everytime I boot up to the registration process.
Something is very wrong with this embedded contact manager.

I've never heard of this one before. Since you have a new BCM, you
should ask Microsoft support to figure out what's wrong while you have
90 days of free support.
