BCM Database file - access from external drive?

I have created a BCM database of all of our customers and I was curious if
there was a way to have this file located on our networked external hardrive
so 2 computers will have access to it? I want each computer to have the
latest contact info and for either computer to be able to edit the data and
for it to show up on the other system.

I found the file location and copied the file to the external drive. I have
gone into the data file management, and under data files highlighted BCM then
clicked settings. Since the file is not on another 'computer' how can I
access the file? I have tried using the IP of the external drive, but no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Check the Help file for "offline database" or "share database". Yes, BCM
will do this and you can choose whether to logon to the database directly or
take a copy with you on a laptop (Offline).
