I need to be able to access BCM contacts from word for sending faxes and
addressing letters. Is there a simple way to do this?

The general way to access data from Office apps is through ODBC or
OleDb connections. But I don't know how easy Word makes this, short of
writing Word macros.

More specific to Word, is the ability to insert fields from the
Outlook Address Book. Look into Word's mail merge feature. It may do
what you need.
