I'm pulling my old BCM database to my new hard drive.  Unfortunately, the db
is in a .mdf file.  I've downloaded SQLExpress 2005, but can't figure out how
to grab this .mdf file and convert it to something I can import into BCM.

Any help/guidance/suggestions is greatly appreciated.

You need to attach the database file to the BCM sql instance.

BCM v3 should attach it automatically if you try to select a new
database in BCM, and BCM finds the unattached .mdf file in the BCM
folder.
