big problem - I think! Old PC died bought new one - insstlaled all programs
running OK.  Got latest and current outlook emails (s that is ok) but
calendar and Business Contact Manager contact details are approx 12 months
ago.  the date saved was the most recent 6/5/08.  Do not understand.
When reading through import options -thinking this was the way to go - I
cannot find any .bcm files.
really perplexed.  And thinking of all the data lost!(?)
Can anyone help please?

So you attached BCM to your old database during BCM first use, and the
data is a year old? Perhaps you have a more recent database on the
disk.

How did you attach the old database to Sql?

The database files have the extension MDF and are in folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data
\Microsoft\Business Contact Manager

HI thanks for reply.  When 1st time instlaling Busines Contact Manager, I
just followed the install promtps.  So wherever it said to put folder/files -
that was Ok with me.

I installed the most recent files.  I am thinking that the file for the
sheduling and client contact list has been corrupted.

I found the MDF files you said - but not sure how to import or attach them?
advice please?  mdf files are called master.mdf; model.mdf; msdbdata.mdf;
tempdb.mdf.

many thanks

I believe those MDF come with sql and are not the BCM database. The
BCM database should be in the folder I indicated, or there's something
different about BCM on your PC.
