We are contemplating installing BCM in our office but I have two questions:
- can the database be exported to Excel or as CSV file?
- BCM is recommended for "small companies". What is the definition of small
company? 10 users or 100 users?
Thanks,
JF

JF,

Small companies is a reference to "product requirement" rather than size.
You are restricted by the MSDE database and over time lots of data will cause
problems. If your requirements are "simple" across 100 users you will be ok.

I have read that the data can be imported from those sources but exporting
I'm not sure of as yet.

You can export Accounts or Business Contacts to CSV via BCM. Excel can
load CSV files.

BCM uses Sql Server, so you can also use generic Sql tools to export
from the database.

The last literature I saw on this said that BCM was designed for
sharing with up to five clients.
