How can I view communication in the communication history by order of when
the communication actually took place (or email was sent) rather than when
the communication entry was created in BCM?

I don't think you can. In general, the history gird shows fields that
are common across all history items. All of them have CreatedOn, but
Opportunities, Notes, and so on, do not have a SentOn field.

Obviously, not what I was hoping to hear.  I was able to add a column titled
'Sent' but all I get in the column is 'none'... weird.
