BCM generates error message "The Information Store could not be opened" at
Outlook Startup. I'm running Microsoft Professional Outlook 2003 v
11.8206.8202 in a corporate environment on Exchange Server.

BCM stopped working during a recent PC startup. I have uninstalled BCM and
MSSQL$MICROSOFTSMLBIZ and reinstalled. The install completes without error
BCM generates the same error when Outlook is started. I have tried creating a
new database which is successful but the same error occurs when Outlook
starts.

Check the Windows Services and make sure that the MICROSOFTSMLBIZ
sqlserver instance is set to start automatically.

Another thing to try out, is create a new Mail profile (in Control
Panel) and then use it in Outlook, create a new db, and see if that
one works when Outlook restarts. If it does, that'll be an indication
of where the problem might be.

Luther,

Thanks for the suggestions.

The MICROSOFTSMLBIZ is set to Automatically start and is started.
I deleted the default mail profile and created a new profile. The same error
occurs when starting Outlook.

Any additional suggestions would be appreciated.
