I'm using Outlook 2007 with BCM and noticed that if I delete a meeting
from the business contact's history, that it doesn't actually delete
off the calendar. Or visa versa.

Deleting from the calendar still keeps the appointment in the
contact's history.

Is this a bug or is it like that on purpose for some reason?

Well, it's not a bug.

The Meeting is stored in Outlook, and when it is linked to a BCM
Contact, BCM creates an Activity Item to link the Contact to the
Meeting. This is what shows up in the history grid. The same applies
to emails in Outlook linked to Contacts in BCM.

When the Meeting is deleted in Outlook, the BCM activity is not
deleted, and contains some of the data from the Meeting. When the
Activity is deleted in BCM, the Calendar item remains in Outlook, but
is no longer linked the BCM item.
