In Outlook 2007. All emailes sent/received to/from a contact are
automatically viewable in the 'activities' tab of the contact.

Is there something similar in BCM 2007? Or do I have to actually link
every email/calendar item/note/etc  manually each time?

You can turn EAA (Email Auto Association) in BCM and that will link
emails, where the email address in the email matches the email in a
Contact. I don't think it handles Meeting invitees.
