When I try to restore my msbcm 2003 database ( danish version of outlook)
into my new outlook 2007 English version i get the message: The database was
created in Danish ( Denmark) version of Business Contact Manager for Outlook,
and is not supported in the English (United States) version.

Is there anything i can do to restore my (Danish) database in Outlook 2007
(English)?

I am sitting and fighting with more or less the same problem. I realize now
that it is not possible for two pcs with different language version installed
to work together. you have to either be on English on all pc's or on Danish.

You could try exporting from the Danish BCM to a BCM file, and then
importing that file into the US BCM.

After you export the file to a bcm file type (which is just xml), you
might need to set the version number from "3,0" to "3.0". I don't have
Danish installed, but from memory it produces the European
punctuation, which will make the English version unhappy.

Moving between locales can be difficult at the sql level, with
collation orders and such. We are aware of the pain. If you have
additional suggestions along these lines, I'd be happy to hear them.

Thanks,
Chris [msft]
