When i import BCM accounts from one computer to another, i encounter two
problems:

1.  The accounts names show up reversed and separated by a comma, like
someone's name.  For example:  General Motors becomes Motors, General

2.  It doesn't import phone logs, appointments etc. into account history

Any solutions?

Hi,

1. Please let me know which file format are you using for import/export of
accounts?
2. Import/Export does not include the history items currently. However, this
is in the wish-list for future versions of BCM.

I used the BCM data format.  I had also tried to use the .csv format, but it
didn't allow me to import all of the fields (i.e. primary contact).

Hi Paul,
Please do the following workaround to import the Account names properly:

1. Go to Tools-->Options.
2. Click on 'Contact Options'
3. In the Contact Options window, change the setting for 'Default "File As"
Order' to 'First Last'.
4. Import the Accounts

Now the Account names will not be reversed. You can then revert the settings
change done in 'Contact Options’.
