In Outlook2003w/BCM, it looks like the way to get BCM to "automatically"
keep a history of all incoming/outgoing emails from/to each specifc
contact's name in BCM is just to click...

Business Tools > Link email > Auto Linking

But is there a way to turn off auto-linking for a single contact, like my
name?  I like that OutlookBCM keeps track of emails for everyone I
communicate with (under his/her name), but since ALL emails involve
me...that means my name accumulates thousands of emails....  I don't really
need that... and besides, it's duplicative... the same email gets filed
under the recipient's name... that's the only one I need.

So is there a way to turn off auto-linking *only* for myself (my contact
record)?

By the way, I'm supposing I could take my email out of my own record
(right?), but then when Outlook sync's with my Palm PDA, then the Palm
wouldn't have any email in it if I optically zap my business card to another
Palm.

I'd appreciate any ideas along these lines...

Thanks,
George
