I accidentally rotated the trackball in booking an appointment through my
Blackberry. The result was an appointment recorded where the end time occurs
before the start time. I did not realize it at the time and I synced without
correcting. Outlook allowed the appointment to be recorded.
I now have a reminder that pops up every time I open Outlook. The appoinment
does not appear on any day that I can locate. The only way I can see that
it's still recorded is by doing a search for the name. But, Outlook will not
allow me to delete the appointment from the search screen.
The appointment is now 7 weeks old. The issue is annoying and has caused my
Blackberry to crash once already. I tried to unistall and reinstall Outlook,
but that did not fix the problem. There has to be a way to fix this issue.

What kind of search are you doing? If you just do a simple Find operation
on a table view of the Calendar folder (such as By Category) you should be
able to delete it from the results list there. If not, are you getting an
error message?

That's exactly how I found it was still in the calendar. I get an error
message when I try to dismiss the event. The message states: "Cannot turn off
the reminder. You may be reminded again. Could not complete the operation.
One or more parameter values are not valid."

Does the same thing happen if you locate the appointment by doing an
Advanced Find?
