Is there a way to display tasks in the calendar without turning them into
appointments? This seems like a major omission!

No.

John - I am looking around for a work around for this. Have you come up with
anything? Thanks, Lynn.

Use Tasks for work to do and set the TaskPad view to show you Active Tasks
for Selected days and then each day you'll see today's meetings (calendar)
and beside them in the TaskPad you'll see today's Tasks.  It is the START
Date that makes them appear on the TaskPad on the day you want to know about
them.

PS - there are heaps of other postings where I've explained this.

Judy.
Thanks for the tips -- we are already using the TaskPad.
Yes -- I have read many postings regarding this request.
I was asking John if he came up with his own work around for this request.
Thanks again for your time.
Lynn.
