Hi all,

I have a problem with an outlook client (Office 2000 on Windows 2000 prof.)
together with Exchange Server 2000).
After synchronizing with a handheld, it's impossible to open recurring
appointments in outlook. If one tries to open such
an appointment, the following error is displayed:

"Cannot open this item. The object could not be found"

It's also impossible to delete such appointments. Everything else seems to
work fine!!?
I already searched the net but could not find a solution for that. Any help
is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot in advance
Michael

What happens when you right click the item? Do you get a context menu?

I've seen this problem several times and so far no fix has been found.
However, I actually have an open case with Microsoft on it now. If and when
we find the answer, I will definitely write it up.

Thank you Patricia for the answer. I will have to check it first , because
one of our customers has this behaviour. I will give you the requested info,
as soon as I tried it out.

Hi Patricia,

In the meantime I have the information you asked for.

>>>>>> What happens when you right click the item? Do you get a context
>>>>>> menu?
Nothing: Right clicking such an item does not display anything.
