How do I add birthdays to the outlook 2003 calendar?

I'd like to add all of the dates I have listed in my contact folder on the
calendar.

Were these contact items imported?  Importing does not preserve the
connection between the contact and the calendar.  You will need to open each
one, change the birthday by one field and change it back to have the
birthdays show in the calendar.
