OK folks - here's a doozy for all you smart people out there!  Appointments are a-jumpin'!

OK get this one - we have a department here where the secretary views
the calendars for everyone in there (simple thing).  We are using
Outlook 2003/Exchange server 2003.  Well she pulls up a couple of
calendars using that spiffy side by side view of Outlook, puts an
appointment in one person's calendar, then closes it.  Sometimes - not
every time - but sometimes that appointment jumps from the closed
calendar to the one that is still open!  Literally hops from one to
another!  At first we're thinking - oh its user error, that can't
happen - but we set up a test using our own accounts on our own
computers and by golly the same thing happened!  So its duplicated
using different accounts on different computers!  Eliminates the user
error/machine error/account error part.  Any of the smart people out
there got a friggin' clue?  This one makes zilcho sense.  I hope
someone has seen it before, we're afraid this problem is going to
become epidemic!!

TIA!

Does this user have Author permissions on the calendar where she is trying
to set the appointment?

Hi!  Yes the user has Editor rights actually, if you want to get down
to the nitty gritty.
