We have Outlook (2003 on 3 computers,  2002 and 2000 on the other 2, which I
can upgrade if needed) and want to set up a group or shared calendar for our
veterinary practice so all five of us can view and modify it on our peer to
peer network. Is it possible to do this without setting up email accounts for
each staff member (security and productivity concerns) and going online for
an in-house calendar? (We do have cable internet.) If yes, how do I do it?
Outlook's help info only seems to mention their Microsoft Exchange account
service.

Outlook can't share its files directly. See
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011477571033.aspx for an
article by Outlook MVP Eric Legault on various ways to share Outlook data.
YOu'll also find a list of third-party sharing tools and other information
at http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm.
