Incoming meeting requests are received as text mail messages and do not
interface with calendar.  Outgoing meeting requests are working ok, but
responses are still received by outlook as text mail.  Any suggestions?

What versions are involved?  If 2000, have senders from later versions
uncheck the reminder.

After furious head-scratching, Carl B asked this group:

Milly,
I am using Outlook 2002 SP3.  I have sent meeting requests to myself from
other computers and have received requests from others from a number of
different computers and they are all received here as standard mail text.
The same requests are received as calendar requests at other user's computers
on a variety of other outlook versions.

Ensure the recipients are not marked to only receive Plain Text, and also
ensure that you do not have the option showing to allow Outlook to choose
the best format.  Always send in Outlook Rich Text Format.
