Is there any way to cancel an appointment (not a meeting) in outlook 2003?
There are other calendaring sytems that allow you to cross a line through the
appointment to show it as a canceled appointment. I don't want to delete the
appointment I just want to find a way to display it as a canceled
appointment. Any ideas? Thank you.

If I knew your version was 2002 or 2003 I would suggest you edit your labels
and use a certain colour to mean Cancelled meeting.

Outlook doesn't support cancelled meetings. You could assign a category to
it ad use views to apply a colored label in Day/Week/month view or strike it
out in table view.

Diane,

What do you mean with "strike it out in table view"? How can I get the table
view.

Switch to the By category view - that is a table view. You can customize the
view - View, Arrange By, Customize - and select Automatic Formatting to set
up rules to use a strikeout font on messages.
