problem. You haven't even given us the version of Outlook that this is
happening with.

sorry the caps were a problem... version: Microsoft Outlook 2003 ... nothing
special, just tried to add a recurring event.. it accepted the timing
(monthly) and the title then when tried to enter in "save and close" then
"operation failed" message appears...

You will hear about the Caps problem if you use usenet to any extent - my
admonition was mild. Using all caps is considered shouting and rude.
As for your problem with the recurring event, have you tried detect and
repair? If that does not work, does a new mail profile help?
