MS Office Forum / Outlook / Calendaring / February 2005"OPERATION FAILED" WHEN TRYING TO ENTER REOCCURING APPOINTMENT?
THIS PROCESS HAS WORKED SINCE STARTED USING MONTHS AGO, THEN IT JUST FAILED WITH THE "OPERATION FAILED" MESSAGE.. WHY??? THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE Lose the caps and try giving us some information that would help with your problem. You haven't even given us the version of Outlook that this is happening with.  Signature--? WHY??? | | THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE sorry the caps were a problem... version: Microsoft Outlook 2003 ... nothing special, just tried to add a recurring event.. it accepted the timing (monthly) and the title then when tried to enter in "save and close" then "operation failed" message appears... > Lose the caps and try giving us some information that would help with your > problem. Using all caps is considered shouting and rude. As for your problem with the recurring event, have you tried detect and repair? If that does not work, does a new mail profile help? Signature--?
