I finally figured out how to do calendar labels this week. See
http://www.outlookcode.com/codedetail.aspx?id=757 for sample code.
It is not possible to programmatically create or modify automatic formatting
rules, however.

Sue -
Thanks! this looks good - but in looking over your site I came across
something that is "Almost" exactly what I want - The Availability Viewer
- However (always a cath right!).
Is there any way to get it to show the Label Colors rather than the
"availability' colors? Alternatively, is there any way to alter/add to
the "show time as" list? My application involves a number of Dr.s and
Nurses who work at multiple offices - I need to show at a glance, all
the people, and where they are (office 1,2,3, vacation, surgery, etc).
Thanks,
Steve Cohn

Not in the availability grid, which simply does what it's designed to do,
which is manage free/busy information. See
http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/scheduleall.htm for applications that may
be more like what you're looking for.
