Is it possible, w/in Outlook Exchange server, to allow a user to have full
rights to another user's mail account, including accessing the in-box?  (As
an assistant accessing bosses e-mail in absence?  While the boss still has
access from Blackberry handheld and/or laptop on the road?)

Yes you can set it up so that permission are given to you for you manager
entire mailbox. Once this is done you can go to your Outlook and add an
additional mailbox (your bosses) for access within your Outlook.

Your manager will still have access to his mailbox items as well but the
mail delivery must be delivered to the Exchange server.   If need be your
bosses laptop then can be setup to work offline when he can not connect to
then server.
